Rivers of pots flow from Staffordshire potbanks, and a multitude of bottle ovens belch out smoke. A small boy is lost amongst the mass of productivity. His guardians stand momentarily in their 1930’s attire, adding a human element of colour to the industrial landscape along the Trent and Mersey canal where barges ply their cargoes to and fro. This landmark design comes in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
It is a very beautiful piece.... like all Kerry Goodwin's designs
